Large scale pots create a presence in a room. I hand build these pots with coils and paddle them to create their shapes. The size of these pots allow for a range of fire effects from the long wood firing they endured. A sense of landscape and natural forces at work is created as the flame, ash and stoneware come together on their surfaces.
